Programs
Two programs.
One purpose.
Every program the foundation runs serves the same end: a household that was underserved or under-equipped is no longer either of those things. We are deliberate in our scope. We do two things, and we do them with care.
Refurbished Devices
We collect retired but still-capable laptops, desktops, and tablets from individual donors and corporate partners. Each device is professionally wiped, rebuilt with a current operating system, tested, and packaged with a charger, a getting-started guide, and a name on a wait list.
Eligibility. Households at or below local-median income with a school-age child, a job-seeking adult, or an elder living alone — referred by a partner school, library, or senior center.
What is provided. A working device, a ninety-day support window, and a no-questions-asked path to a replacement if it fails.
Hardware without help is barely better than no hardware. We stay involved as long as we are useful.
Digital Literacy
For new and uncertain users — particularly elders and adults returning to the workforce — we offer free, patient, one-on-one training: how to use email and a browser safely, how to schedule a telehealth visit, how to apply for benefits and jobs, how to spot a scam.
Eligibility. Anyone in the foundation's service area, by appointment or referral.
What is provided. Structured one-on-one sessions, plain-language reference materials, and a direct line for follow-up questions.
Proposing a partnership or beneficiary
Schools, libraries, senior centers, and community organizations are the foundation's front line. If you work with households that need either of the above, reach out — we read every inquiry.
